You might be wondering and probably guess that I’m about to brag about how much I make on the Internet and such.

But, I’m not.

The snapshot that you are seeing is real but here is the whole point I’m telling you.

Although there are many more sales I’m not showing you here but I must say that this is not an easy work that I did in a short period of time.

In fact I did not make any single sale in the first 3 months I was online. My first commission was less than $10 USD. After the first three months, I was not consistently making money. Of course, I did get one or two sales but there were (meaning many) months that I did not get anything financially from my effort.

But there is one thing that I learned all the way.

Lots of people do not have passion and patience to build an online business. They want to make money as soon as they switch on their computer, without learning the right thing and having the right mindset to build a business. They quit halfway and call it a scam or anything related to that. So, I DID NOT become one of them. I did not try to make my online business work. I wanted to make it work and I worked on it.

If people quit halfway, I keep on learning and doing. That’s why I can show you the snapshot you’re seeing above.

If I were to quit 4 years ago, I could never be able to show you the list of sales I made here.

Now, imagine what the snapshot above would be in the next 5 years!

That’s the clue that I’m putting in your mind today.

1. Learn how to build a business online.
2. Pick something that you like to do.
3. Find out if that would be profitable.
4. DO IT and NEVER QUIT!

Of course #2 is debatable for many people, but that’s the rule I’m making for myself.

Talk to majority of employees and you’ll find some of them would definitely come up with a dream of starting their own business. Since I’m building an online MLM business, I can relate these few points in building the right mindset in any business.

1. Business Is Not Employment

If you are still working with other people, do not treat your business like your job.

In the office, you will most likely be told to do your own tasks or assignments and they’ll be people setting up goals and directions for you. These goals and directions will align with the company growth – not your own personal financial growth. So, what plans do the company have for you? Not much!

However, in building your online business, you have to set your mind about where, when and what you want to achieve in life – meaning that goal setting-and-getting is your job.

You have to set your goals, strategize and work towards getting those goals on your own (with the help of your business team, of course). There will be no one forcing you to do any specific tasks in an online business and you won’t get penalized for not completing your tasks – but you have to remember that your income in any online program will not grow if you don’t grow.

So, treat your online business as your future investment.

2. Doing Half-heartedly Doesn’t Count

What’s the worst that you can get if you work half-heartedly at job? Not much if your boss doesn’t know that you are not giving your 100%. As long as you can deliver what’s expected from you, you are safe. Come back tomorrow and you are still at work.

It can be tough at times when you build an online home based business while still working – not only in terms of consistently getting the income but also in terms of giving attention to your business.

I still remember a quote from Robert Kiyosaki on a website. He suggests to keep your daytime job while starting a business part time mostly because of the experience. He says, “Not only will you learn about business, you will learn a lot about yourself,”

Since you already make certain amount of money every month from your job, a little income from your home based business seems trivial. But, it will grow bigger once your business starts to grow big.

However, this does not mean that you will put only a little effort in growing your business.

You would probably have heard that most wealthy people work harder than those who have jobs, but how do you build a business when you are still at work 9 to 5?

The key is to keep yourself disciplined and do the right things to grow your business consistently. If it takes 2 to 3 hours a day from your spare time to build your business, then use those hours effectively to build your business.

Doing the right things for your business only for 2 to 3 hours a day does not mean you are doing half-heartedly. It means you’re giving a 100% on a limited half-time you have for your future.

3. Grow yourself more than you grow your business

That is right!

You can grow your business to a million dollar empire but you should know that your first million can go down the drain overnight because of a lot of factors.

What do normally business people do when that happens?

They get back up and build a bigger business because they are equipped with what it takes to be successful.

This includes sharpening your skills in networking, sales, communication and other areas of personal growth.

Most people with employee mentality will probably feel frustrated and unmotivated with failures and give up the first time business turns sour. They do not know what to do next when it happens.

Well-equipped business people know that failures are just temporary. It is like a stepping stone for them to elevate to a higher ground.

The friendship, self-motivation, business networking and sales skills will take them anywhere they want to go and build a new business in a more powerful way. The last temporary hiccup was actually their biggest lesson for them to grow to even smarter entrepreneurs.

Even when they are successful, they will keep on learning to grow themselves for greater challenges in the future.

In short, great business leaders are life-long personal development students.

Now, let’s close it by a quote from Jim Rohn that I love so much.

“Formal education will make you a living; self-education will make you a fortune.”

Interpret it well and it won’t be surprised why the most respected business philosopher, Jim Rohn himself, said like that about personal development.

The Success University World Tour

For the second time, I went to Singapore this year to meet some of the sharpest minds in Internet MLM and I’m glad I made my journey there this time.

The seminar started 15 before 8 in the evening and ended around 11.

Now, I think there were about 400 people in the room and majority of the attendees were from Singapore… and a few are from Malaysia (there were a couple of Danish and others). What this means is that the market for Malaysia is still huge and that’s one of the reasons why I had to meet the leaders in Singapore.

What is my comment about the seminar?

Awesome!

Johnny Wimbrey, Matt Morris and Tony Michael were simply amazing.

Here I learned the story of Johnny Wimbrey being raised in a battered women shelter, making a change in his life and committing to never let his children have the same memory of the same experience again.

Matt Morris also shared his story of being broke and finally made millions 6 times within 5 years. Not only that, Matt shared with us his 7 strategies to 7 figures too (the ones he used to change his life).

Tony Michael later made a few announcements that made more Success University excited to be part of the company (hint: The Right Place at The Right Time).

Then, we went for a late night supper at a restaurant (which I don’t know where it was because Jaz Lai was the one who took me there). You can see below some of the leaders in Singapore having fun in a casual way with those who never have to work in their lives anymore. Just imagine the aura of being around with successful people will challenge you to be a much more successful and better person.

We were enjoying drinks called “Godzilla”. Johnny loved the drink and he didn’t miss paratha bread too.

I once saw a comment on my blog that said “yes, there is a few ways to generate a recurring or residual income, but not all people can do it”.

That’s how the comment popped up.

Of course, I didn’t believe in publishing my book in 88 days, but I already started to put a little faith that I could have a book with my name on it one day – if I knew what I was going to to.

I went to the workshop with full determination that I would once be an author and nobody could deny me.

To cut the story short, I attended the workshop and promised myself that I had to recoup my investment in that workshop by producing a result (a book). Then, one thing led to another, and I found Daegan Smith, who lives thousands of miles away from me (He is in the United States and I’m in Malaysia) and then “The Ultimate Blueprint of Internet MLM Success” materialized.

Who would have imagined such a joint venture like this would happen?

So put belief in anything that you want to achieve first, and work your way to get it. It might take a short or a long way to reach there, but if you take action and hold to your vision, you will get there.

The True Secret Of A Successful Entrepreneur

Being an entrepreneur and running your own business might seem ideal… getting out of the so-called, “rat race” of job employment. If you’re already doing that, congrats but read this article first.

The absolute best way to make money as an entrepreneur is to start out by doing the things you enjoy and outsource the things that are necessary but you don’t like to do.

Although some people will tell you to chase the money and forget about what you like. After all, business is business, right?

That depends on you.

If your number one motivation is money– if the sun rises and sets on money in your land… and if the sight of a dollar bills sends you into shivers of ecstasy– then yes, perhaps for you business is business. If money is your passion, if “buying stuff” is what drives everything you do, then in that case it really doesn’t matter what you do… because as long as you’re making money, you’ll be happy.

Do you identify with that personality?

Can you be happy doing anything as long as you’re making boatloads of cash?

If not, then read on…

Most people like money, yes. I like money too. I believe it’s the same for you as well. Come on, it’s a fact and nothing to be ashamed of. But if I really examine why I do what I do today for business, I may find that money isn’t the main motivator. “Buying stuff” may not be the main motivator either. Sounds cheesy and corny but I won’t spend the time here to convince you that it’s the truth.

If you’re the type of person who thrives on good feelings when you help people, even if money isn’t involved, if you are really passionate about something (cars, quilts, relationship, whatever), if a kind word from a customer would really make your day– then you may be an entrepreneur today NOT for the purpose of making the green bags. That’s good news because you’ll love what you’re doing.

Yes, I know you’re getting into business at least partly if not mainly to make money — after all, money buys freedom… the freedom to buy what you want, the freedom to make your own schedule, etc.

However, you don’t need to chase the money in order to make loads of money.

What do I mean by that?

Here’s something for you to chew on… not everyone who “chases the money” is rich. I bet you’ve seem them all. And amazingly, not everyone who chose a path related to their passions is poor.

You see, choosing to chase the money is no guarantee that you will make money. In fact, there are no guarantees at all… So why not do something that you actually enjoy?

Exactly.

Now you may be thinking that if it makes money for you– if you see results, you don’t care if you enjoy it or not. Sure, if you’re one of those people I described before (where money is your main motivator), then this will work for you.

But I bet you’ve dropped things in your life before even though they were creating the results you wanted.

For example, have you ever taken up an exercise or diet plan that you didn’t like?

Perhaps you took up running in the morning. But you hate running. And you’re a night owl.

But dang it, you made a promise to yourself that you were going to lose weight and get in shape. So every morning you get up and jog. A few weeks pass and you step on the scale. Yep, you’re losing weight. A few more weeks pass and your clothes are fitting better, you don’t gasp for air when you run up a flight of stairs, and you feel and look better than you’ve ever felt.

In short— you are getting AMAZING results. You are getting exactly what you wanted for your health and body.

And then it starts…

One morning the alarm goes off at zero-dark-thirty and you hit snooze. Your bed is so warm and cozy that the thought of getting up to go jogging makes you feel a little queasy. “No problem, I’ll just skip a day,” you say to yourself as you settle back in for another hour of sleep.

The next morning you rationalize it again. And the next morning… and so.

Pretty soon you’re jogging just once or twice a week. Then once or twice a month. Next thing you know, you jogging in the morning is just a fuzzy memory of something you used to do.

If you hate jogging and you hate mornings… what made you think that you could ever keep with a commitment to jog in the morning?

Even the benefits of losing weight and getting in shape aren’t enough of a reward to overcome the hatred of jogging.

Do you see what I mean?

There are many things in our lives that we drop even though we’re getting results we wanted!

So here is what I’m proposing to you– start off doing something you enjoy.

Now I’m not saying that you shouldn’t do market research, or that you should purposely pick something where you can’t even think of a way to make ten bucks but you like it. No, not at all. That’s foolish. You’re doing a business and a healthy business needs to make profit.

What I’m saying is that you should start entrepreneurship with your passions, your interests, and things that bring you enjoyment.

From that starting point, find a way to make it profitable! Don’t bow down and drop your passions just because there are other markets out there that are known to be more lucrative. All you need is a little creativity to be a successful entrepreneur.

There are people that have taken interests like housecleaning, cooking, vacuuming and the like, and turned those passions into multi-million dollar ventures.

If these people can turn these sorts of interests into full-time professions, why can’t you?

I’d much rather do what I like and let the money follow, then do what I hate and hope I can eventually catch the money.

The bottom line– don’t sacrifice your love for money. Unless your true love IS money it just won’t work. Real entrepreneurs do what they do for more than making money — They have a purpose. Some call it, a ‘calling’.

All right, wanna know what I’ve been up to?

1. I’m writing a short report (but I call it an ebook anyway) to release to the local market. The working title is “Building Your First Online Recurring Income System”. It will be a concise ebook and come with resale rights.

2. I’m working on the final touch of my physical book that is expected to be released in mid April or May. The publisher is non other than the local millionaire coach, Azizi Ali’s True Wealth. It is in the final stage and it’s called “The Ultimate Blueprint of Internet MLM Success“. This is my joint venture project with Daegan Smith from the States.

These two projects have been draining my energy but I’m loving every moment of it.

If you want to know how everything turns out, keep your eyes on this blog and you’ll get the answers in a few weeks.

Now, I don’t want to let you go empty handed. So, here is something that I picked up when I was in my car with my wife today.

I was talking about 2 young men whom one of them is still in college but are building a strong business on the internet.

I said to my wife, “I admire them. They are so young (compared to me) but have the courage to start a business on the Internet when many kids like them are still clueless with what they want to do with their lives”.

“Maybe they have the right exposure”, says my wife and I agreed with her. Being me, I added one extra statement.

“Yes, they may have the right exposure and lots of people are actually exposed to the idea of making money on the internet in their early age now, but not many of them are taking action and being persistent in doing it. Maybe their priority is different.”

However, let’s evaluate this phrase for a moment.

Failure in the early stage is bearable compared to making a great fall in your grey-hair age.

But, it doesn’t mean that it is too late if you are in late 40s or 50s because with the right move, you can still make it BIG in your life. Just look at Colonel Sanders who founded KFC (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colonel_Sanders) and tell me if my statement above is wrong.

So, the moral of the story is that if you can… start early, but even if you are in your golden age… it doesn’t mean that the door of opportunity is closed for you forever.

Just let the “Giant Within You” out and strive for the better you!

At the beginning of the call, I heard Jim Bunch mentioning the most important point that will stick in my mind for a very long time.

“Surround yourself with the best of the best and you’ll produce the results of the best of the best.”

If you are into personal development, I believe that there is nothing new in that statement. However, Jim continued by saying that your “will power” is on only when you turn it on, but environments will stick with you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If you managed to be in millionaire environments every second of your life, wouldn’t it make sense that you’ll stay millionaire or become a millionaire one day?

That clicked and made me want to know more about the environments Jim was referring to. In this article, I will briefly mention what the 9 environments of millionaires are as discussed by Jim Bunch.

1. Memetic Environment

Beliefs, ideas, knowledge and concepts are examples of memetic environment. They are intangible and very important because it starts with you believing that you can get what you want in life. You might ask “how to change your belief”. The answer is to change what you do and the result will change too. As soon as you see the results, you begin to believe. Think like a millionaire.

2. Relationships Environment

Family, friends, colleague and support personnel are in the “relationship environment”. This environment controls your behavior that causes you to think, act and feel in a certain way. As hard as it can be, sometimes you have to let go off some relationships in your life because they are not bringing in closer to your goals in life. It is simply a community that you are in. This community has rules, values and beliefs on its own. You have to be extremely selective in choosing your network. This is the environment that causes people most stress. The problem with financial environment is that when you grew up, nobody seemed to talk about money. 7. Body Environment

8. Self Environment

9. Spiritual Environment

It is your connection to higher source, love and self. If you are not in the habit of doing it, you’ll have to put yourself in the spiritual environment again. Change all your environments and you start to change your thinking.

Well, maybe it was played a few times, but it was never given much attention to make it popular like those songs from the local favorite artists.

After awhile, I totally forgot about it until recently the radio keeps on playing it over and over.

I said to myself, “Hey, I know this song. I heard it before but why only now they play it”.

Little that I know that the singer was actually working hard to make herself known to the world. She has been trying to win the heart of her fans since years ago.

As far as I know, she has been involved in 2 realty TV shows that were looking for new singing talents. And, although she did not win in both programs, she was among a few that caught the attention of millions of supporters.

Do a search on the internet and there are thousands of websites mentioning her name. God knows what else she is doing to make her dreams of becoming a star a reality.

I sincerely admire her courage and perspiration.

Her story becomes an inspiration and a lesson to me and hopefully to you too.

I know that it’s hard and painful to visualize a vision of getting what you want and not getting it yet. But, give it time and do the things that are within your reach to make it work.
