Beginner’s resource to internet marketing
If you are experienced internet marketers, bear with me with this post. Treat it as a revision for you.
I’ve been getting lots of questions on many different subjects. So today, I’ll post my answers to common questions from some of the readers.
1. Where can I find free HTML editor software?
Go to www.nvu.com and download NVU software. It is free and it’s a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) web editor. I find it more or less like Microsoft Frontpage that I’ve been using.
When you have enough money to spend, probably you can invest in xsitepro.
2. How to convert Word document to pdf for free?
There are two places that I can think of right now.
www.primopdf.com
www.pdfonline.com
3. Which one is the best web hosting provider?
I can’t say which ones are the best but there are a few that I use myself and I’m quite happy with what I use.
Before you ask which webhosting servers are the best for you, you need to know what you want to do with your website. (BTW, webhost is like a store in the offline world. Instead of storing tangible products, you’ll store HTML, images and other digital documents on a webhost).
So, that’s why it is important for you to know what you want to do with your website before you choose the server.
For example, if you plan to build a simple 1-page direct response website, you don’t need a big server space. In contrast, you have to plan for huge space if you want to create a community forum.
Here are the places where I subscribe my hosting:
Kiosk – this is where this blog is hosted.
Host4Profit – one of the earliest that I use. I’m using it for my MLMLessons.com.
HostGator – this is where I host many other sites because they can support multiple domain add-ons.
4. How to accept credit card payment online?
The simple solution is to subscribe to 3rd party payment processor like 2Checkout.com and ClickBank.com for a small fee.
You can also open a PayPal account for free for this purpose.
5. Do I have to be good at writing in English to make money online?
No. Not necessarily. There are many ways you can make money online without you having to be good at writing in English. For example… focus on Google Adwords ads, running an article directory, hire someone with good command of English to maintain your website, run a local online business where people understand your languange, sell products on eBay and many more.
Another tip is to partner with someone who is good at English and both of you work as a team. For example, you can be good at creating a software and your partner is excellent in marketing. So, let your partner do the marketing for the software you’re developing.
There you have it.
I hope these answers will help you move further with your journey to making money in the internet.
warmly,
Zamri Nanyan
