Make Use of Giveaway Events?
Henry Gold has been known for his 117ChristmasGifts. He had a huge success launching 117ChristmasGifts, I guess 2 years ago. Then, he launched TheSuperGifts, which is doing well too.
Now, using the similar and improved script, Henry Gold and Dave Cheyne are in the process of launching 117 Software Goodies, which I think will be a big hit as well.
I want you to participate in this list building event because it is one way to build your own list, and you know what? This giveaway event is going to launch soon – on the 13th of May. If you don’t know what it means, let’s just say that lots of people will be promoting it by then, which means there’s a potential that you can get many subscribers (or products) from the JV contributors.

So, I’ll see you inside.

ps. By the way, if you don’t know what giveaway events are, I wrote a short article about it below. Enjoy!

Make Use of Giveaway Events?
by Zamri Nanyan
Giveaway events have been around for a few years now and I don’t see that they will go away in the future. The way they are done will probably evolve but they will stay around definitely.
So, what are giveaway events anyway?
Giveaway events are times when webmasters ask for other people to contribute products to be given away for free. These products can be downloaded from “giveaway events” websites after you register your name and email address on their websites.
Normally, these events go on for a week or two but lately, I can see that the giveaway frenzies are there for as long as I can remember.
These events’ main reason is to build and grow mailing list of the people who contribute products. The other reason is to open up an opportunity for others to download digital products for free that they might otherwise have to buy these products from other places.
To make it more interesting, the webmasters of these giveaway events will plug in an affiliate program which there’ll be an upsell after you request to join and download the products. This is what powers giveaway events to be viral.
You refer people to download products for free, and there’ll be a chance for you to make money from the upsell after the registration.
To download the free products, you’ll probably have to fill up a form again, which your information will be passed to the person who contributed the product that you are about to download. And, that is how the product contributor builds their mailing list.
Frankly speaking, I don’t mind joining these giveaway events especially when I contribute my product to build mailing list. I don’t mind grabbing some products from these websites too because you will never know that some of the products that you download might be a goldmine for your niche (hint: private label rights and master resale rights products).
So, it’s up to you to decide if you want to join the fun in those giveaway events.
Now, here’s another point. Most of these events will pull a lot of new subscribers when they are newly launched. If you are the product contributor, you want to join as early as possible and upload your product immediately.
The good news is that you can find many giveaway events out there. The bad news is that not all giveaway events are created equal. Some will pull many subscribers. Some won’t.
If you have time, prepare some products that you want to give away and when you see these giveaway events, become a JV partner and contribute these products that you’ve prepared earlier.
Repeat for other giveaway events that you find and that will save you time to search for the right products to give away.
