Generating Residual Income With Kiosk Webhosting

Kiosk Webhosting and its VIP Hosting Franchise Concept
Have you heard of webhosting franchise?
I haven’t until Kiosk Webhosting company introduced this new concept to me (if you have heard about it before, let me know. I don’t want to claim this company to be the first).
For your knowledge, Kiosk Webhosting is a multi-level affiliate program, which when you refer new customers to their webhosting service, you get commission up to 10 levels. I host this blog on Kiosk Webhosting server and the only problem I had was when lots of webhosting companies got hacked by some irresponsible people some time last year (and Kiosk was one of the unlucky ones too). It was bad but they fixed the problem within a reasonable time frame.
And, yeah… some top marketers are using and recommending Kiosk too – marketers like Mike Filsaime, Michael Cheney and Paulie Sabol. Needles to say, I’ve been with Kiosk since 2006 (if I remember it well) and have been making some good commissions recommending this service to others too.
Recently, when Kiosk Webhosting announced that they were going to have a VIP franchise plan, I was curious to know. Of course, most of the time I don’t bother with opportunity meetings and such. But, franchising a hosting account? I have to know…
After listening to the call for an hour at my 1:30am (huge time difference between Penang and Houston – their Kiosk Webhosting office), I finally got it.
Kiosk Webhosting franchise is simply a concept where it works like other franchises such as McDonald’s, Pizza Hut or Burger King. Everything is the same, including the system, only that the location is different.
In the case of Kiosk Webhosting franchise, you have a webhosting website run and supported by the franchisor (Kiosk Webhosting main office) in an exact replica of the system the main Kiosk Webhosting website has. The only difference is that the domain name is yours and the website design is configured to your own like (they have 5 templates to choose). So, when people go to your domain name, they will see Kiosk Hosting website but everything else inside the website is coded with your affiliate tracking link. That means, when someone buys a hosting account from your franchisee website, you will get the commissions from Kiosk. And your client might not even realized that it was a franchisee website.
Another great feature that this franchise webhosting concept has is that whenever there is a question from potential client, Kiosk Webhosting main office will answer and support you as if they are your staff. So, it is really like running a webhosting company of your own with less interaction from your site.
With this approach, you don’t have to promote your regular Kiosk replicated website anymore. A simple promotion of your domain name of your franchisee account will do.

Do You Choose Linear Or Residual, Recurring Income?

If you were given 2 financial choices in life, which one will you pick? I’m also assuming that you are already making a living comfortably at work or in your business.
Here are your two important choices.
A. You get paid every day on a fix amount of dollar (say USD$100 per day) but you have to work every day to get that amount of money. You stop working and your income stops.
B. You work every day for two years with little to no income at all and sometimes you lose your money, but you are sure that by the end of the third year, you will get more than the person who works every day in the case of option A above. And the money keeps on multiplying regardless if you work in the fourth year and beyond.
Which one will you choose now?
I’m sure many people will choose option B. Who doesn’t want an income stream that will keep on multiplying regardless if you work or not? And, believe me that there is a few ways to do it.
But I also believe that some people will simply choose option A as they can’t bear the fact that it takes so much time, money and effort to achieve their financial dreams.
If you were to ask me, I would not abandon the idea of making a recurring income. At the same time, I would love to get paid every day for the work that I’m doing. It’s just not making sense to choose only option A and leaving option B on the table.
Of course, eventually you want a steady recurring income in your life – the one that will provide you cash regardless if you work or not. At that time, you have the luxury to choose to work or not and even if you choose to work, it is more because you like to do it – not for the money anymore.
Now, the idea of building a recurring income is not new and it is a very exciting concept after all. Let’s look at how Burke Hedges explains this great idea in his book “The Parable of The Pipeline” which tells a story of two cousins who bring back water from a river to their village using two methods.
The first cousin, Bruno, will bring a bucket to scoop the water and carry it back to the village. He’ll be paid for the water. Then, when the demand increases, he hires more people to get the water. Obviously, he gets paid more but he also has to pay the employees and the tools. His income will be limited by the number of employees and the tools he has.
The other cousin, Pablo, is quietly making a plan. He is building a pipeline to supply water from the river to the village. It takes time, money and effort to build the pipeline. As you can guess, he is not paid a single red cent for this effort. He can see his cousin making a fortune but he knows it will be to his advantage when his work is done.
Finally, his pipeline is complete. What the villagers need to do is turn on the tap and the water is supplied directly into the village cistern. You know what? Who’ll need to buy the water from the other guy anymore when the simple turn of a tap will provide water in their houses at a cheaper price than the other guy charges?
As for Pablo, his work is done and he’ll get paid for as long as his pipeline is working (while he is lazying around).
I’m not going to build a real water pipeline for sure but you can model this concept to create your own recurring income.
Here are a few suggestions:
1. Write a best-selling book for a royalty income. Then write some more books in your spare time. You can also write an ebook and sell it online.
2. Buy a property and rent it out. Then, buy a few more to double or triple your income.
3. Deposit your money in bank or invest in stocks. Compounding effect will double your money in 7 years for a yearly 10% interest of your savings. Stock appreciation will increase your money as well.
4. Create a product that requires a license from you. For example, a piece of software can be charged annually for the license. Big corporations are doing it but the small players are seeing this opportunity too.
5. Build a network marketing business. You and your team will build a group of distributors and the bigger your team is, the more money you will get. But, do not confuse network marketing with a get-rich-quick or pyramid scheme.
So, back to the original question, “if you were given 2 financial choices in life, which one will you pick?”

Jonathan Leger’ Preselling Secrets Review
Finally, I had a chance to read the report “Preselling Secrets” by Jonathan Leger.
Hope many of you are still waiting for it although it took me a few days to write the review on my blog. Yeah, you heard it a lot – I’ve been busy.
I believe lots of people have seen Jon’s “The Search Engine Myths Exposed” report but not many know “Preselling Secrets”.
Preselling Secrets is just 21 pages long. It is simple to read but enough for anyone who has been in internet marketing for awhile to understand.
Not many subjects can be discussed in 21 pages but Jon did it well by making his report content straight to the point.
After telling a little bit about what Preselling is all about, he goes right into the first type (of two types) of preselling.
1. The One-Shot Preselling
Which means… you write only one preselling email and with that one email, you should be making some sales.
To make the report more valuable, Jon shows some statistics of his recent preselling results. It includes how much he makes from that one email, what the conversion rates look like and the best part is… he includes the email that he used. Then, he explains how the email can pull that kind of statistics that he gives.
The other type of preselling is much more powerful and he made much more with this second method.
2. Full-scale Preselling Promotion
Which involves a few carefully crafted emails sent out in a certain intervals, before the product launch.
Personally, I think this method works well if you are a joint venture partner to a certain product launch… and you have the luxury to review the product beforehand.
But, with a few idea, you can also use the same strategy to promote existing not-so-new products.
Like he explains in the first method, Jon also gives the exact emails he used to promote a new product, and goes on to dissect the emails with explanation of how the emails can bring sales to you.
He also tells the reader when the emails were sent out and how they should be written.
And… that’s about all in Preselling Secrets.
It is short, straight forward but it is worth the $7 I invested.
Before I go, let’s see if what I wrote in my previous blog tallies with what Jon wrote in his report.
I did mention about article writing and using videos to do the preselling, but obviously I didn’t expect Jon Leger write something which is out of my thought. It’s great anyway to learn to do preselling in much more details (but not too details that it will bore you to death).
A great investment for a $7 product!
